Maureen presented information on a new company who could produce a coverlet for fundraising sales. This would be with the American Legion and a senior group. It was voted on and passed to advance $250 of the $500 needed for the $150 deposit and for 10 fully paid for coverlets. When 10 are sold, there would be enough money to purchase the next 25 with a two week turnaround.

Amey reported on the new roof over the addition was put on by Straight Line Roofing Co. for $1200 with materials donated by EBS and a supplier.
Maureen has submitted press releases to the Packet about the above, and will submit to Ellsworth American and BDN also. She has also submitted a press release to the Packet about the eBay purchases.
And Maureen reported that the new DOT signs are in place—the replacement signs on Tenney Hill and Pleasant Street and a new sign on South Street.
Jim reported on the phone situation which had become complicated and expensive due to Joyce’s changing from ATT to MCI this summer. After much effort, he has obtained a reasonable rate.
A Fisher relative who visited this summer offered to transfer $1000 worth of stock to JF.
