Sally Harms - planning to bring a family reunion in June
Gary Vencil noted that he will be reading Dick Carters revised dissertation for possible publication by Oxford University Press
· Gary and Brad are interested in reading the document
· Brad has to monitor his time
Treasurer’s Report
Amey summarized our financial status – which is pretty good

Fund Raising
Peninsula Blankets – Maureen Rawding
· will have a prototype in MidMaine
· Price is expected to be around $46.00
· Actual blankets will arrive in June
Bob Sweethall - Portrait of Blue Hill with identification
· Bob Slaven Sr. - produced an earlier version with original names and recent owners
· Bob Sweethall - has created a three dimensional drawing with labels on the buildings
· Our response - we are interested in the information he has assembled and may be able to use the graphic. We are not focusing our efforts on marketing this year.
Staffing - Amey, Jim, Linda and Bob met with Joyce Baines on April 18th
· Amey discussed some of the things that Joyce could do for us

Bylaws
Bob handed around suggestions for revisions
Mission Statement:
Dues structure - remove from the bylaws - dues to be set by the trustees
Executive committee - discussion of whether to have an executive committee - Pres, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Member at Large
Number of trustees - create a flexible range Min-Max 11 - 15
Annual Meeting - not necessary to have a vote
Ex-Officio Status - Minister of the Congregational Church - Brad suggests that we not create a legacy position.
Nominations
· Brad - Screening process - need to look at our current mix of skills
· Needs - people who are good managers of money, willing to canvass and raise money, people who are good at investing, people with legal knowledge, knowledge of architecture,
· Nominating Committee - Brad, Amey, Carol

Maintenance
· Form a committee - Jim,
· Roof facing south over the addition is looking pretty poor, but we have not seen any leaks - Amey will invite Jack Grindle to submit an estimate

· we have missed the boat for listing in the chamber brochure
· we might get on their web site at $40
· there is still a debate why a nonprofit museum would have to pay to be included.
· Bagaduce Music Library - considering a fundraising event around Ethelbert Nevin.
· Bob Slaven willing to act as a liaison on this project
· How can we help to promote this event?
· Minimal effort - display brochures, place events in the newsletter
· Board is reluctant to commit much here.
Farnsworth
· Brad is going to go through the Farnsworth list
· The valuations on the list are probably well below what they think
· We have to cross that bridge when we come to it.
